Government of Quebec and AUF Scholarships

The Government of Quebec and AUF Scholarships provide funding for foreign students who have been admitted to French-speaking universities in Quebec to pursue master's or PhD studies. Beneficiaries receive exemption from additional tuition fees, access to the same tuition fees as Quebec students, a return air ticket, an installation bonus, and an annual financial allowance. The program aims to promote student mobility and strengthen Francophone scientific capacity.

Tuition exemption to match Quebec student rates, return airfare up to €1,900 (reimbursed on receipt), travel insurance, first-year installation bonus (€1,000), and an annual lump sum allowance (€1,000) contingent on academic performance and status as an exempt student.

Candidates admitted to fall 2024 or winter 2025 sessions for master’s or doctoral programs in French-language higher education institutions in Quebec.
