LRAEF Scholars Program

The LRAEF Scholars Program is a scholarship administered by the Louisiana Restaurant Association Education Foundation (LRAEF) that provides financial assistance for post-secondary, graduate, certificate, and professional development programs in culinary, restaurant, foodservice, tourism, and hospitality fields. Awards are available to students, educators, and industry professionals and are intended to support education and career development in the hospitality and culinary sectors. Scholarship amounts are up to $5,000 and multiple scholarship categories exist to match different educational and professional goals.

One-time scholarship award of up to $5,000; financial assistance for post-secondary and graduate studies; funding for professional certificate programs; career development opportunities; multiple scholarship categories.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or eligible residents of Louisiana and may be students, educators, or hospitality industry professionals meeting the requirements of the selected scholarship category. Graduate applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to an eligible graduate program where required.

Select an appropriate scholarship category, complete the official scholarship application, provide educational and personal information, submit documentation of enrollment or admission, include career goals and industry experience, and provide essays, recommendation letters, and other supporting documents as required.
