Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program 2026

The Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program is a fellowship for journalists to spend approximately 12 weeks on the University of Chicago Booth School of Business campus, auditing classes, attending seminars and events, and networking with faculty and peers. Participants engage with Stigler Center activities and have opportunities to write for ProMarket and to collaborate with Booth faculty and students. The program provides a stipend and travel reimbursements as part of the fellowship.

Stipend of $14,000, airfare reimbursement, visa fees reimbursement, audit of classes, seminars and workshops, opportunity to write for ProMarket, space for study, certificate of participation.

Open to journalists from around the world with some years of media experience and proficient English who are interested in deepening their knowledge of political economy.
