Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere Memorial Scholarship Fund 2025/2026

The Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for undergraduate studies in Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, for Tanzanian students. It also offers master's degree scholarships for top performers in related fields. The program is established by the Bank of Tanzania to honor Mwalimu Nyerere and aims to support outstanding students pursuing specified degree programs in Tanzanian accredited universities.

Undergraduates: Category A (female Tanzanian citizens in Science and Mathematics) and Category B (male or female Tanzanian citizens in Science, Mathematics, IT, Economics, Finance or Accounting). Masters: Tanzanian citizens not older than 35, with exceptional bachelor’s degree and admission to a full-time master’s program in related fields.
