Tom Queba and Pegasys Scholarships for Social Change 2026 for South Africans

Canon Collins Trust, in partnership with the Tom Queba Memorial Fund and Pegasys, invites applications for scholarships for Honours and Masters study at South African universities in 2026. The scholarships support studies that contribute to social and/or environmental development and the betterment of lives and livelihoods of the poorest people in South Africa. The package includes funding for up to two years and opportunities to participate in organized events and a network of current scholars.

Funding up to R85,000 for up to two years; opportunities to participate in an annual conference for current scholars and other events; membership in a scholars network.

Be a black or coloured South African national residing in South Africa, be under 34 years of age at the commencement of your course, hold a good first degree (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or be about to graduate, and be studying or applying to study Honours or Masters at a South African university.
