The CODESRIA Small Grants Programme for Thesis Writing awards competitive small grants to doctoral students to support completion of their dissertations. Grants are intended to support thesis writing-up, fieldwork, and participation in writing workshops. The programme is administered by the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA). Awards are typically in the range of $3,000–5,000.
