Amex Canadian Small Businesses Grant Program 2025

Deadline 9 June 2025. The Amex Canadian Small Businesses Grant Program 2025, funded by American Express Canada and administered by DMZ at Toronto Metropolitan University, selects 100 Canadian small businesses with community significance and owners experiencing economic hardship to receive a grant of 10,000 CAD plus mentoring support. Selected businesses gain mentoring via workshops, small group sessions, and one-on-one meetings with DMZ mentors, along with access to an online learning platform for part-time coaching.

Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or hold valid authorization; must be at least 18 years old; the business must be independently owned and incorporated in Canada, operated primarily in Canada, active in the Canadian market since before 2024, with annual 2024 revenue under 1.5M CAD; the business can operate from a physical location or online; applicants must be able to work in English or French.
