Sydney International Student Award

The Sydney International Student Award is a scholarship for international students applying to undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs at the University of Sydney. It provides a contribution towards tuition fees to attract high-quality international students to undertake research-focused study at the university. The award targets admitted students for full-time study in Australia for the 2027–2028 period.

Tuition-fee contribution (20%), access to the university’s international student support offerings as part of the scholarship.

Candidates must be non-Australian/New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, hold an admission offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree commencing in 2026, have English language proficiency, and are not enrolled in MBA or distance-learning programs. Eligible countries include Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
