Catalyst Grants 2026

Catalyst Grants 2026 provide seed funding to higher education institutions to initiate or expand campus climate action projects. Eligible campuses can receive up to $5,000 to support efforts such as reducing emissions, strengthening climate resilience, and promoting environmental justice, with emphasis on equity and inclusive access. The program is run by Second Nature and includes national recognition for recipients.

Eligible applicants are higher education campuses that are active or affiliate members of the Climate Leadership Network or participating in UC3, including historically underfunded institutions, HBCUs or Tribal Institutions, and Community Colleges.
