Europäische Partnerschaft BE READY

The BE READY European Partnership for Pandemic Preparedness supports transnational, interdisciplinary research projects aimed at closing critical research gaps in pandemic preparedness and developing novel countermeasures, diagnostics and prevention strategies. Projects are collaborative, transnational research consortia with a duration of up to 36 months. Funding is provided by national and regional funding organisations, with the Austrian share administered by the FWF.

Researchers at universities, non-university research institutions and relevant industrial research departments active in pandemic preparedness research. Each proposal must include between three and six partners from at least three participating partner countries; a coordinating partner submits a joint document to the central Call Secretariat.

Two-stage submission: submit concept and full proposals to the Joint Call Secretariat (electronic submission) and submit administrative/financial data and scientific abstracts to FWF's elane in the specified program categories. Coordinator must submit a joint document to the Call Secretariat.
