Institute Support for Travel

The Institute Support for Travel is a faculty travel grant programme run by the Indian Institute of Science to support certain international travel requirements of its faculty. Each request is limited to a maximum of Rs. 2 lakhs for attendance at international conferences/seminars/workshops where the faculty member gives an oral presentation or is organising a scientific session. Applications require a prescribed fillable PDF form and supporting justification documents; approvals are made by the committee of Deans on a periodic cycle.

Travel grant up to Rs. 2 lakhs to support international conference/seminar/workshop attendance when presenting or organising a session.

Faculty members / IISc researchers; faculty who received IoE travel grant support once will not be considered again until two years elapse from the date of support.
