The Olimpíadas de Professores 2026 are national initiatives to recognise and disseminate successful pedagogical practices developed by public-school teachers, focusing on Portuguese language and mathematics for the final years of basic education. The programme includes the Olimpíada de Professores de Língua Portuguesa (OLPL) and the Olimpíada de Professores de Matemática dos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental (OPMBr). It targets teachers linked to participating schools and aims to systematise and share practices that improve student learning.

Recognition of teaching experiences and dissemination and systematisation of successful pedagogical practices to contribute to improvement of teaching and learning.
Elegibilidade
Teachers from public schools who work in 6th to 9th grades at school units participating in the Programa Escola das Adolescências; OPMBr participants also integrate actions of the Compromisso Nacional Toda Matemática.
Candidatura
Registrations are made via the organisers' web portals/registration links during the stated registration periods for each Olympiad.
