International Indigenous Astronomy Conference

The International Indigenous Astronomy Conference is a scholarly conference focused on the value, relevance and contribution of indigenous astronomy in the 21st century. It brings together indigenous knowledge holders, academics, policymakers, researchers, students and other stakeholders to deliberate on research methodologies, epistemologies and policy. Outcomes include the launch of an international indigenous astronomy experts’ society, publication of conference proceedings and production of policy briefs and research notes.
