Escola de Verão do IMPA 2026

The Escola de Verão do IMPA is an annual summer school offering courses, seminars and minicourses primarily in mathematics and related fields for undergraduate and graduate students, teachers and researchers. The 2026 edition runs from 2026-01-05 to 2026-02-27 and will offer courses in over 30 disciplines across undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. IMPA runs a selective process to award a two-month financial scholarship for participants living outside Rio de Janeiro.

Access to courses, seminars and minicourses across >30 disciplines; selective financial scholarship of R$ 1.200 for two months for eligible non-Rio de Janeiro residents.

Open to undergraduate and graduate students, teachers and researchers. Foreign students must register with the Polícia Federal within 30 days of arrival in Brazil.
