NITI Aayog Young Professional Program

The NITI Aayog Young Professional Program is a contractual two-year programme that brings early-career professionals into the national policy-making ecosystem to work on policy research, data analysis and program implementation. Young Professionals work across NITI Aayog verticals including economics, public policy, data analysis, infrastructure and social development. The role involves drafting policy papers, data collection and analysis, and collaboration with ministries and stakeholders.

Monthly salary of ₹70,000; 3-day induction training; 18 paid leaves per year; exposure to government policy-making and national-level projects.

Candidates must hold one of the listed qualifications (Master’s degree, B.Tech/BE, 2-year PG Diploma in Management, CA/ICWA/LLB/MBBS, or a professional degree of 4 years or more after class 12) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience and be no older than 32 years.
