HDSI Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program

The HDSI Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program is a cohort-style undergraduate research programme at the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI), UC San Diego. It enables students to pursue student-led, year-long data science research projects with faculty mentors and external partners. The programme is funded by philanthropic support and is designed to develop analytical skills, build data science portfolios, and produce community-impact research.

Open to undergraduate students across disciplines; participants include UC San Diego undergraduate students.
