The Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO) is the second stage of India’s Junior Science Olympiad programme and forms part of the national selection pathway for the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). It tests scientific understanding, problem-solving and application of concepts across Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics at roughly Class 10/secondary school level. Students advance to INJSO after qualifying through the National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS). The examination includes objective and descriptive sections, with some questions carrying negative marking and descriptive questions requiring methods and reasoning to be shown.

Elegibilidade
Students who qualify through the National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS); syllabus broadly equivalent to Class 10 (secondary) Science and Mathematics.

Students must enrol for and qualify through the NSEJS first stage; NSEJS enrolment and exam dates are provided for the 2026 cycle.
