The Brain Prize is an annual international prize for neuroscience awarded by the Lundbeck Foundation to one or more individuals who have made outstanding contributions in any area of neuroscience, from basic to clinical. Recipients are active researchers who are nominated by others. Winners are announced in March and are presented with their medals at a ceremony in Copenhagen in May or June.
