Visiting Scholars program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the MIT Portugal Program

The Visiting Scholars programme at MIT, supported by the MIT Portugal Program (MPP), supports periods of research of three to seven months at MIT, offering an immersive experience in the university's scientific and technological ecosystem. Eligible participants include faculty, researchers and master's or doctoral students affiliated with non-profit national R&D entities, who secure formal hosting from a MIT faculty member for the mobility period. Applications are submitted online via the MPP page.

Eligible are faculty, researchers and master's or doctoral students affiliated with non-profit national R&D entities who have formal support from a MIT host; Portuguese citizens or foreign residents in Portugal are eligible.
