Programa RESTART – 3.ª edição

The Restart Programme provides competitive funding for individual research projects, with a maximum grant of 50,000 euros and an execution period of up to 18 months. It is aimed at researchers who have recently returned from parental leave and includes conditions for eligibility related to parental leave duration and career continuity. It supports the development of original and innovative research ideas, potentially with additional human resources or materials as funded.

Funding up to 50,000 euros for project execution over 18 months; institutional support as part of the grant.

Researchers who have recently benefited from parental leave (including adoption) and who meet the specified criteria, including holding a doctoral degree and having institutional affiliation or contractual ties to a laboratory, may apply.

Submit a project proposal in competition, coordinated with the hosting institution, following the guidelines in the Open Call document.
