Concurso de Fomento a la Vinculación Internacional para Instituciones de Investigación 2026

The Concurso de Fomento a la Vinculación Internacional para Instituciones de Investigación 2026 is a competitive grant programme to generate and strengthen international research linkages between Chilean research institutions and foreign institutions. It funds projects that build or consolidate collaborations across regions, sectors and disciplines, aligned with ANID and Ministry priorities, including strategic macrozonal areas and knowledge development linked to the ELT. Project duration is up to twelve months and proposals across all knowledge areas are accepted.

Project funding up to CLP 30,000,000 (or equivalent to EUR 50,000 for ELT-related proposals) to support international collaboration activities; project duration funding for up to twelve months.

Eligible applicants are Chilean national institutions with legal personality (universities with institutional accreditation, research institutes, research centers, corporations, foundations, accredited technical training centers (CFT), accredited professional institutes) that carry out research and/or research teaching and/or innovation. Foreign institutions may participate as associated partners.
