The UNEP-Georgetown Law Global Environment and Sustainability Law Fellowship 2025-2026 is a funded fellowship for public sector lawyers from developing countries to earn a Georgetown LL.M. and gain international legal experience with a posting at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The program combines legal study with placement at UNEP either in Nairobi or at one of its regional offices, and it has a history of fellows progressing to roles in government, environmental agencies, or international organizations.

Elegibilidade
To be eligible, a candidate must reside in a developing country, have the requisite degree to practice law in their home country, be employed by a national or local government entity, and be engaged in practicing environmental law, energy law, natural resources law or a related field. Fellows must commit to returning home for at least three years after the program.
Como se candidatar
Nominations by National Focal Points (NFP) are invited, with CVs; nominees are shortlisted for a waiver of application fees, and others may apply directly to Georgetown indicating interest in the Fellowship with an LL.M. application.
