Research Collaboration Programs in the Humanities Greece–USA

The Research Collaboration Programs in the Humanities Greece–USA is a bilateral funding call to develop collaborative research projects in the humanities and humanistic social sciences between Greek and American researchers. Greek researchers are funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (ELIDEK) and American researchers are funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Proposals are submitted first to the NEH and then a copy and Greek-specific documentation are uploaded to the ELIDEK portal.

Doctoral students and researchers affiliated with universities; Greek researchers will be funded by ELIDEK and American researchers by the NEH.

Submit the proposal initially to the NEH via Grants.gov under the NEH 'Planning International Collaboration' / Collaborative Research Grants requirements; within one week after NEH submission, upload the successful NEH-submitted proposal and Greek project documents to the ELIDEK online portal.
