Johns Hopkins Scholarships JH 2024-2025

The Johns Hopkins Scholarships JH 2024-2025 are mobility scholarships funded by the University of Patras (Department of Medicine) to support undergraduate medical students to undertake research electives or clinical electives at Johns Hopkins University in the USA. Clinical electives are normally 4 weeks and research electives 4–9 weeks. Selected students must be accepted by Johns Hopkins and will be financed by the University of Patras according to the stated per-award amounts.

Funding for mobility (amounts as stated), placement at Johns Hopkins conditional on Johns Hopkins' acceptance; clinical elective duration 4 weeks, research elective duration 4–9 weeks.

Undergraduate medical students of the University of Patras. For clinical elective applicants must be at least in their 6th year of study; for research elective applicants must have completed at least the 1st year. Candidates must retain student status during the elective and must have prior contact with a specific Johns Hopkins clinical unit or laboratory.

Applicants submit an application form and required documents electronically (attachments as a zipped folder) to the Department of International Relations by the stated deadline. Candidates must have prior correspondence with a Johns Hopkins clinic or laboratory. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the University committee; final approval follows acceptance by Johns Hopkins.
