Applications are open for the Claude Ake Visiting Chair Programme 2025. The Chair is intended for scholars who combine a commitment to scholarship with advocacy for social justice and is open to social scientists from African universities, focusing on issues such as war, peace, conflict resolution, human rights, democracy and development in Africa. The visiting chair holder is offered an environment to pursue their own research, with opportunities to lecture, hold seminars and contribute to ongoing research activities at the hosting institutions.
