UNFPA Gambia WPS and YPS Internship 2025

Interns will support Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) initiatives at the UNFPA Country Office in The Gambia. The programme focuses on supporting Gender/GBV, Adolescents/Youth units, and related projects, with tasks including data gathering, documentation, and collaboration with partners and sub-contractees. The internship provides a stipend to cover basic daily expenses, and participants must arrange accommodation, travel, and other requirements themselves.

Stipend to cover basic daily expenses; professional experience in WPS and YPS programming; exposure to UNFPA operations and data/monitoring tasks.

Applicants should have recently graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree and must start the internship immediately if selected. Fluency in English and interest in Gender/GBV programming are required.
