American Dance Festival Internships

The American Dance Festival Internships are summer internship positions across arts administration and production supporting the festival season at Duke University and the Durham Performing Arts Center. Production interns work on crew for the season's performances; administrative interns gain hands-on experience in arts management and may participate in classes and intern showcases. Interns are integrated into ADF staff and contribute to the festival's mission to serve dance, dancers, choreographers and related artists. Stipends and ticket privileges are provided; stipend amounts vary by position.

Complimentary tickets to each ADF program (one per intern), potential academic credit, and a stipend (amounts vary by position); administrative interns may take classes, discussions and participate in intern showcases.

Applicants must submit proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful alien status permitting work in the United States.
