IUPAC–Solvay International Award for Young Chemists – Call for applicants

The IUPAC–Solvay International Award for Young Chemists recognizes and encourages exceptional early-career researchers in the chemical sciences. Up to five prizes are awarded to outstanding Ph.D. theses, with a cash prize, travel support to attend the next IUPAC Congress, and an opportunity to present a poster and contribute a review article. The awards are presented at the IUPAC Congress in Montreal, Canada.

Cash prize, travel support to the IUPAC Congress, invitation to present a poster at the Congress, participation in a plenary session, and submission of a review article to Pure and Applied Chemistry

Eligible candidates completed their Ph.D. in 2026, with the Ph.D. granted by an institution in an IUPAC member country/territory, and whose research is in the chemical sciences.
