British Academy Global Professorships 2024

The British Academy Global Professorships are awards for established researchers to undertake high-risk, curiosity-driven research in humanities and social sciences at a UK host institution. The awards are intended for new, coherent and cutting-edge projects that add significant value to the host institution and foster collaboration. Each award is for an individual and is linked to an institutional setting, with funding provided for a multi-year period.

Up to £900,000 per award for a four-year period; opportunity to conduct high-risk, cutting-edge research in the humanities and social sciences at a UK host institution.

Grants are available to mid-career and senior researchers in any discipline within the humanities and social sciences who hold a doctoral degree and are based outside the UK at the time of application.
