French Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme 2027-2028

The French Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme offers 10-month fellowships at seven IAS locations in France for high-level international scholars and scientists to develop their research projects. It welcomes applications from researchers across all disciplines interfacing with the social sciences and humanities. Fellows benefit from a multidisciplinary environment, support from host institutes, and access to research resources and networks.

Living allowance, contract options, social security, housing support, research budget, travel expenses, access to libraries and facilities, training opportunities.

Outstanding researchers of all career levels, with a minimum PhD and at least 2 years of research experience; applicants must have spent no more than 12 months in France in the three years prior to the application deadline.
