The Schering Young Investigator Award is an annual prize recognizing outstanding basic research by early-career researchers in the life sciences. It is aimed at Nachwuchswissenschaftler who have completed their doctoral dissertation and developed a pronounced scientific profile. The award is intended to support recipients in advancing their research careers and establishing themselves within the scientific community. The prize is endowed with EUR 10,000.
