Inlaks Fine Art Award

The Inlaks Fine Art Award supports young, emerging Indian artists to undertake independent work in India for one year. The award includes a monetary grant and requires the awardee to attend a recognised art residency programme in India for four weeks during the award year. Awardees must submit interim and final reports and a residency report.

Monetary award of INR 3,00,000 for one year and participation in a four-week recognised art residency in India (with an open day event).

Applicants must be Indian citizens currently residing in India, born on or after 1 January 1996. Applicants may be recent graduates, post-graduates or final-year students from leading Indian institutes for visual arts; applicants without a formal degree should preferably have participated in organised art exhibitions. First-year master’s students are not eligible and applicants must not hold a similar/government scholarship during the award tenure.

Complete the online application form on the Inlaks application portal and upload one PDF containing 10 still images and/or 2 videos of current work (audio/video files may be provided as links with passwords if needed).
