GBM PhD Award

The GBM PhD Award recognises an outstanding PhD thesis in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. It is awarded to theses completed at a German university or university of applied sciences within the two years prior to the award ceremony. The prize carries a monetary endowment and is presented at the Mosbach Kolloquia in even-numbered years; winners are required to receive the prize in person and give a short lecture.

Monetary prize of €1,500; invitation to the prize ceremony at the Mosbach Kolloquia and opportunity to give a short lecture.

Outstanding PhD thesis at a German university or university of applied sciences completed in the two years prior to the award ceremony; proposals or self-applications are accepted.

Proposal or self-application; applications announced in Biospektrum (issue 5) in the year before the ceremony; prize presented at the Mosbach Kolloquia in even-numbered years.
