Ministerio de Economía, Comercio y Empresa Fulbright Scholarships 2027-2028

Two Fulbright scholarships funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business for training or research in areas within the Ministry's competence. Awards support following a Master's or other professional certification, an academic accreditation plan without degree, or a research project at a U.S. institution. Scholarships are intended for employees of the Ministry and provide funding for up to twelve months (one award may be renewable for a further twelve months). Period of activity is between summer 2027 and winter 2028, finishing no later than December 2028.

Monthly stipend (€2,600 gross), tuition coverage up to €40,000 (or project support up to €10,000), round-trip travel (€3,000), books/initial expenses (€3,000), health and accident insurance, possible family allowance

Applicants must be Spanish nationals holding a university degree and have excellent English. Candidates must be serving civil servants in the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business, in career subgroups A1 or A2, with at least one year of service in the General State Administration by the application deadline.
