International Security Fellowship at Hertie School 2026/27 in Germany

The Centre for International Security at the Hertie School offers non-stipendiary fellowships for researchers. The fellowship provides affiliation, resources, and access, but does not include a salary or stipend. Research fellows are appointed for either one semester or for the entire academic year, and are expected to spend time at the Centre in Berlin and participate in Centre activities.

Affiliation with the Hertie School Centre for International Security, access to the library, potential desk space, listing on the Hertie School website, and participation in research activities and events.

Applications from junior as well as senior researchers who hold (or are in the processing of obtaining) a Ph.D. or equivalent degrees in political science, sociology or economics are welcomed. Applications from citizens of all countries, and particularly women and minorities, are encouraged.
