Mozilla Foundation Fellowships 2027-2028

The Mozilla Foundation Fellowships fund individuals pursuing ambitious technology projects that advance public benefit, with two tracks: Embedded Fellows working with a host organization and Independent Fellows pursuing their own project. The program provides stipends and project budgets, supporting creators to turn ambitious ideas into tangible technologies and impacts. Fellows are selected through a multi-stage process and are expected to contribute to Mozilla’s mission of building a healthier internet.

Stipends and project budgets; opportunity to develop and scale technology with Mozilla’s support and mentorship.

Applicants must be legally able to receive grant funds and have a bold, ambitious technology project; applications welcome from builders from all walks and sectors.

Submission of a Letter of Intent followed by a full application in early 2027 after shortlisting.
