LEAP Africa Youth Leadership Development Programme 2026

The Youth Leadership Development Programme (YLDP) is a five-month training programme for young Nigerian undergraduates, focusing on leadership, active citizenship and community development. It includes self-paced courses, group mentorship, and participation in debates and community projects. Two programme tracks are offered: Community Change Project Track and Youth Leadership Debate Competition/Community Advocacy Track.

Leadership training, mentorship, project development experience, advocacy exposure, and grant funding up to ₦350,000 for community projects

An ideal participant is a male or female undergraduate in a Nigerian tertiary institution, aged 18-35, with an interest in community development, advocacy and activism.
