DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) 2026–27

The EPOS programme is a scholarship offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to support postgraduate study in Germany in development-related disciplines. It targets highly qualified professionals from developing and newly industrialised countries to pursue master’s degree programmes with a focus on development and capacity building. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to enable scholars to study and contribute to development outcomes in their home countries.

Financial support including living stipend, insurance, travel, and study-related allowances

Applicants must be citizens of developing or newly industrialised countries, hold a bachelor’s degree before the start of the programme, have at least two years of relevant professional experience, and meet language requirements for the selected study programme (English and/or German).

Preparation and documentation are encouraged, with deadlines varying by programme and university.
