PAYA Youth Council 2026

The PAYA Youth Council 2026 is a year-long, paid leadership development opportunity for current or former youth apprentices. Council members design and lead their own projects to promote youth apprenticeship, build advocacy and leadership skills, and participate in panels and speaking opportunities, with mentoring from an alumnus. The program includes a stipend and an in-person summit in Washington, DC, in June 2027, along with travel support for participants.

Stipend, travel reimbursement, mentoring from PAYA alumni, leadership development, opportunities to participate in panels and speaking engagements, and a chance to participate in a summits in Washington, DC.

Applicants must be at least 16 and not yet 24 as of June 1, 2026, currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a PAYA Network youth apprenticeship, and able to travel to Washington, DC for the in-person summit in June 2027 and to attend monthly virtual meetings.

Complete a three-part application process by April 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific time.
