A 5-day residential programming and modelling skills workshop for early-career researchers in Quaternary science, focusing on Python, numerical methods and landscape evolution modelling. The workshop includes sessions on version control, high-performance computing, working with geoscientific datasets and integrating field and remote-sensing approaches. It offers accommodation support and reasonable travel costs for attendees and provides access to high-performance computing resources and real-world datasets. The event runs at the University of Plymouth and aims to build professional networks among peers and specialists from the UK and Europe.
