ResearcHStart is a multi-institutional summer research program that places high school students in laboratories to gain hands-on experience in cancer research, including immunology, bioengineering and therapeutics. The program includes research training, career development and skill-building workshops, a faculty lecture series and mentorship, and concludes with a research symposium. It is run in partnership among Illinois universities and provides a taxable stipend. The program generally runs from the second full week of June through the first week of August.

Elegibilidade
High school juniors or seniors at time of application who are residents of Illinois or Lake County, Indiana, at least 16 years of age at the program start, with a strong interest in scientific research or medicine and able to commit to 8 full weeks (35-40 hours/week).
