Destination Australia Scholarships

A government-backed scholarship program administered at La Trobe University regional Victorian campuses to attract and support students to study in regional Australia. It offers an annual payment to eligible new undergraduate and postgraduate students who study full-time and live at specified regional campuses. The scholarship can be awarded for up to four years depending on course length and stage of study.

AUD 15,000 per year; renewable for up to four years depending on course length and stage.

New undergraduate or postgraduate students commencing in the first semester of 2023 who meet all offer conditions, study full-time and live at one of La Trobe's Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Mildura or Shepparton campuses, enrol in an on-campus (face-to-face) course, register four units per semester and are not receiving another university scholarship.

Students are automatically assessed for the scholarship when they apply to study at La Trobe; no separate scholarship application is required.
