Summer School: Environmental Justice in Theory and Practice

A one-week summer school on environmental justice combining theoretical perspectives with case studies and practice. The course covers climate change, protection of marine and terrestrial ecosystems, and urban sustainability. It is taught by academic lecturers and includes guest talks from practitioners and opportunities to apply course material to chosen cases. The programme takes place at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Course participation; for scholarship recipients: coverage of participation fee and accommodation; early-bird applicants receive a €50 discount.

Targeted at master's students, doctoral researchers, early-career researchers and young professionals with an interest in environmental justice.
