Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MSc-HPE) at University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) – Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program

The Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MSc-HPE) at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is a fully funded master's programme for African health professionals who want to become educators and educational leaders. The 18-month, blended delivery programme combines online learning with in-person sessions and is offered through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Eligible applicants benefit from a fully funded pathway through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program and gain opportunities for mentorship, networking and professional development in health professions education across Africa.

Applicants must be African citizens, residents, or recognised refugees; must hold a bachelor's degree in a health-related field; must be 35 years old or younger at application (with exceptions for applicants with disabilities); must have professional experience in teaching, supervision or educational leadership within health-related higher education institutions; must be able to participate in online and in-person programme activities.
