Akademie Schloss Solitude Residential Fellowship 2026/2028

The Akademie Schloss Solitude Residential Fellowship offers 6- or 9-month residencies in Stuttgart for international artists, researchers, and cultural professionals. It provides an on-site environment for concentrated work, interdisciplinary exchange, and international networking, with opportunities to engage in collaborations with local cultural institutions. Fellows receive a monthly stipend, studio space, travel reimbursements, and access to workshops and events, supporting a period of development and dialogue across disciplines.

Residency in Stuttgart, monthly stipend of €1,300, furnished studio, utilities, travel reimbursements, potential project funding, health insurance coverage for non-EU residents, participation in Akademie events and access to workshops.

Open to artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners from around the world who have two to ten years of professional experience after completing their education and who are not currently enrolled in a degree program (with exceptions for doctoral candidates).

Three-stage process: open short application online, full online application for selected candidates, and jury-based selection with transparency measures.
