The Central Bank of Kenya Internship Programme provides a one-year work placement to recent graduates in fields related to banking, finance, economics and information technology. It aims to develop young talent for employment opportunities in the Kenyan banking and financial sector, offering workplace experience, networking and mentorship opportunities.

Eligible applicants have a first degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Banking, Accounting, Micro-Finance, HR, Management, Social Sciences, IT or related fields, or a master’s degree in a relevant area; must be Kenyan, aged 21-29, and must have graduated within the last 24 months; a university reference letter is required; must not have previously undertaken or been exposed to relevant internship work experience.
