South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Graduate Development Programme 2026 for young South Africans

The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) invites postgraduates to join a one-year Graduate Development Programme from February 2026 to January 2027. Participants will be exposed to different SARB departments and attend learning interventions focused on central banking and professional skills. The programme includes work-integrated exposure at the SARB Head Office and potential permanent appointment for top performers at the end of the year.

Market-related salary and additional benefits; training at the SARB Academy; Data Science work in a Data Lab environment.

Applicants must hold a postgraduate qualification in one of the specified fields and be a South African citizen with an honours degree and strong academic record.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in interviews, assessments and a security clearance as part of the selection process.
