Master of Science in Chemistry

The Master of Science in Chemistry at the University of Bonn is a consecutive degree programme with a strong research focus. It enables students to independently solve complex problems using a variety of scientific methods and includes a Master’s thesis conducted in a chemical research group at the university.

A qualified first professional degree (usually a BSc degree) with the following characteristics: minimum overall grade (German system) of at least 2.9 and successful study of modules in inorganic/analytical, organic/biochemistry, and physical/theoretical chemistry totaling appropriate credit points.
