WIPO City of Innovation Awards 2026: Global Call for Cities Driving Innovation and Creativity

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has opened applications for the WIPO City of Innovation Awards 2026, a global initiative recognizing cities that commit to fostering innovation, creativity and community-driven transformation over a 12-month period. The program seeks city pledges and aims to provide international visibility and networking opportunities for winning cities.

Official trophy; international recognition and visibility; travel sponsorship for one city representative; media and storytelling support; permanent city plaque.

Open to cities located within WIPO Member States; up to three cities per country; applications must include a 12-month innovation and creativity pledge and be signed by an authorized city representative.
