Empowering Youth and Women amid Economic Instability: Enhancing Public-Private Partnership between Japan and Africa for Sub-Saharan African Countries

A fully funded, multi-phase capacity development programme organized by UNITAR for young and women professionals from Anglophone Sub-Saharan Africa. The blended programme runs from August 2026 to February 2027, combining virtual learning, applied project development, mentorship, and an in-person experience in Japan for selected participants. It aims to build entrepreneurial, leadership, and partnership capabilities to develop scalable solutions aligned with development priorities.

Entrepreneurial skills, leadership development, innovation tools, mentorship, and opportunities for international collaboration; in-person immersion in Japan for a select group of participants.

Ambitious young African professional, entrepreneur, researcher, or social innovator between the ages of 18 and 35.
